One Last Blast to the Past...

I know I promised you guys some new strips and they are coming. But, today I have a long lost That Old Goat that has never been seen. Most of the original strips were redone for the GSU Signal. But I skipped this one because it was a rehash of both the baby strip and the bean strip and I didn't like the fact that the goat thought thought so much.

Here it is:

The end of an era (that era being composed of retreads, reruns, and rehashed ideas)

Here it is. The last of the GSU Signal That Old Goats. Well not technically the last strip produced, but the last posted in the world wide net. As such, this particular strip has taken on a kind of personal significance for me.

That's right true believers! I too have been looking in my fridge for something to eat. Going forward, I'll be posting all new TOGs plus a couple of new strips I've been developing. Until then, thanks for reading and keep on trucking. Or some such nonsense.

EDGY

A true quandry...

This weeks strip actually features a mystery of the universe I pondered throughout college.
I tried to pose this very question to none other than comedian Steve Martin at a lecture he gave at the Atlanta College of Art. I was drowned out however by people asking questions about ridiculous topics like his writing process, getting published, acting, etc. Art students can be such killjoys.

FOR ALL THE LADIES IN THE HOUSE! (AND CDB.)

Due to complaints about last weeks strip not really featuring TOG, this classic is all about him.

Can eating. Goat behavior at it's best.

That Old Goat jokes #1 (1998 Edition)

In honor of my sister dropping in to visit, here is That Old Goat featuring her:
In a crazy twist of fate, she actually saved a snail from being stepped on outside my apartment last night.

Out with the old, in with the old

Some more classics for my devoted followers, all both of you.

This is actually the last strip I did for Georgia State's Signal newspaper. I never actually planned to do a Sandee the Cheerleader strip but it's a three panel joke and I had to fill up the last panel with something. The other option was Shaved Bear, which was a bear that had all his hair removed and tried to blend into society. That's bear as in animal, not burly gay dude.

THE DAY I GET OFF MY ASS.

What is this? A year later? More? Well, I have no excuse. But I do have a classic strip to put up. So here you go:

Also, to my man Bart Byrom, I swear that new strips are coming. I am a working man, so I can't just take time off from band practice and micro-brewing to do my art thang', but I am devoted to puting up at least twenty new strips before the end of the year.
